“What Would Joel Do” Week of Service Update

This email went out today to our organization at my employer, Check Point/Avanan, regarding their “What Would Joel Do” week of service efforts.

I am eternally grateful to all my colleagues for keeping Joel’s Light shining. So many people doing so many amazing things helps bring light to our darkness.

Thank you Gil and Kelly for organizing this and thank you to everyone who has/is participating. Seeing the impact of Joel’s life on the world is providing comfort.

Team,

Thank you for being part of the What Would Joel Do community service week in honor of Joel Byrne. I keep getting amazed and excited by the activities people have lined up. We’re starting the week after next and it’s still not too late to join. The great list below has what we’ve lined up so far. If you want to participate and need some help to find what to do, please reach out to Kelly or myself.

Also, for those that ordered an employee t-shirt to wear while you are volunteering, it will be arriving starting on Monday next week.

There have also been a few events that have already happened for What Would Joel Do? Including making the news in Naples Florida. Here is the video clip News8 WhatWouldJoelDo Naples9.

Also, our America’s leader and team volunteered at Second Harvest in Toronto Canada.

Here are a few resources to provide direction for those that still look for something to do:

Let’s make a difference together in our local communities while honoring Joel and the light he brought to the world.

Thank you,

Gil Friedrich
